Teacher profile
For over 30 years, I have combined acting and English language teaching. I have toured with theatre companies across Europe performing English plays in schools and sixth form colleges. I have always taught English with a strong emphasis on role play and dialogue. We learn another language to feel confident speaking it.
I have a BA (hons) degree in drama. In 1991, I studied acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff while also completing my RSA (Cert) TEFL in teaching English as a Foreign Language. In 2011, I successfully completed an MA in TESOL. (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
