Do you wish learning English was more like real life?
Dan’s Group Speaking Confidence is a 6-week speaking and listening programme designed to help you understand real conversations and speak more naturally in everyday situations.
You’ll prepare before group sessions with short listening, reading and vocabulary tasks. In class, we’ll work through realistic, real life situations in a small, friendly group.
In every group session you will be working towards completing a task or challenge, and I will give you the language tools to do this. I’ll also give you useful, solid feedback to help you improve step by step, with a focus on fluency, confidence, accuracy and natural English.
You’ll also get regular personalised 1:1 support and clear feedback to help you improve step by step.
Suitable for A2 / B1 / B2 / C1 learners.

I believe that you need to understand how English works in real life before you can use it effectively. That means focusing on listening, recognising how language sounds in fast speech, and learning vocabulary in meaningful chunks and situations — not isolated words or rules.
My lessons and materials are built around real life situations, everyday (or work) tasks and realistic communication. I also encourage my learners get the most out of my courses by doing some preparation before lessons.
I like my lessons to be fun and interactive, so you'll need to be friendly, active and inquisitive! Even when the main focus is on speaking, there's always a bit of listening and reading in all of my sessions.
