I'm a British, UK-based English language tutor with over 25 years' teaching experience.

I believe that real-life topics, tasks and situations can help you to develop your English quickly and naturally. Grammar and rules are important, but they should not be the main focus. Most importantly, the English you learn should be the English that you really need in YOUR life!

I also believe that you should read, listen and USE your English as often as you can. This means preparing at home alongside speaking and writing to build confidence and accuracy.

If you feel like your English is “OK”, but not really improving, I can help you.

I will guide your learning and encourage you to start using your English with more confidence, range and accuracy.

PREPARE TO SPEAK! Group Speaking Course

Weekly group speaking course with guided home study.

I give you real life situations, conversations and discussions to practise at home on Monday... You come to class and talk about them on Friday! Vocabulary and language recorded and shared with the group after each session. Practice makes perfect!

£19 GBP – 1 week’s support + 1 live group speaking session (1 x 75 minutes)
£99 GBP – 6 weeks’ support + 6 live group speaking sessions (6 x 75 minutes)

Suitable for A2 to C1+ learners. Lower or higher level speaking groups available. 4 to 10 (max) learners in each speaking group. Google Classroom access included.

1:1 ENGLISH COACHING Personal Tutoring

I will be your personal English tutor and coach.

I will help you for 1 week - or as long as you need me! Tell me what you need to improve (pronunciation / presentations / IELTS speaking, etc), and I will give you exactly the support you need to improve.

Home study materials / tasks and email support (Monday - Friday) + 1 - 2 hours live online coaching per week. Vocabulary and language recorded and shared after each session.

£39 – 1 week’s support + 1 live session (1 x 60 minutes)
£75 – 1 week’s support + 2 live sessions (2 x 60 minutes)
£229 – 6 weeks’ support + 1 live session every week (6 x 60 mins)
£439 – 6 weeks’ support + 2 live sessions every week (12 x 60 mins)

Suitable for A2 to C1+ learners. Google Classroom access included.

GENERAL INFO:
You can join me for just one week or for 6 weeks at a time. I teach from September to July with short 1-2 week breaks in between each block. Homework is always BEFORE the class - not after. Book your free 30 minute chat to get started!
