I have you read articles aloud while I listen to your pronunciation. When necessary, I correct your pronunciation and answer any questions you may have about the grammar, meaning, differences, etc.
At the end of the articles are discussion questions. That is where the free talking begins. I help and correct you when necessary. We don't need to stay on topic; the articles are for pronunciation practice, vocabulary introduction, and grammar in use. With some students, we simply talk the whole time about whatever you want.
As long as it's in English, it's ok! ;)
I can use other articles with more grammar exercises or more listening practice if you prefer.
The goal is for you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and ultimately speaking in English. :)
